Fairy Chess Intro Demo
Everyone knows there is only 6 pieces in chess.
This is a short short short intro sequence demo, just the barest slice of a prototype I whipped up for the 2024 Trans Wrath Jam. I really wanted to enter something into it but I only discovered it with like, less than a week left, so this is all I could do in the time. C'est la vie!
Should function right on PC browser, won't be playable on mobile to my knowledge.
Controls:
Arrow Keys - Movement
Z - Confirm / Advance Text
X - Cancel / Open Menu
C - Jump

Thank you for trying it out! Even if there's nothing really to it other than an intro sequence. I am hoping to return to it someday as well. I learned a few things just from implementing what is here, so either way it was worth it ^^

Thanks! I haven't really put together a sequence like this before, so it was good for experience. I wanted to continue building for the Trans Representation Jam, but my brain kind of exploded and refused to cooperate =w=

Thanks! It's very very tiny, but I didn't want to let the jam slip by without putting anything up even though I learned about it late. Such is life ^^;
